Women Hiking

2024 UPDATE: I've moved overseas for the foreseeable future and to allow the group to continue, I am stepping down as organizer.

I highly recommend fitpacking.com. He has wonderful hiking trips and they include first and last night hotel and transportation. I also highly recommend working towards Chase Southwest Reward Airline points. With these, you can get free airfare and make an airline reservation and cancel at the last minute if necessary. “This is a group for women interested in traveling out of town to hike. All skill levels are welcome. I started this group to meet other women who want to share costs and hike at Yosemite, Yellowstone, Zion, Glacier National Park, Estes Park, etc. Depending on the group's desire and skill level, we will fly out on a Saturday, rent a van, stay at hotels, campgrounds, or the backcountry, and fly home the following Saturday. The trips are planned around the weather, location, and Southwest Flights under $300 RT.  The estimated share of each person's hotel, rental car, and food allowance will be $700 to $1000. All details can be discussed at our first meetup. This is not a commercial travel group or a travel hacking group. I am not a travel agent, nor do I have any special training. I am merely looking forward to meeting other women who have the time, funds, and desire to hike. Looking forward to exploring the outdoors with everybody.”
