Minimalism is a unique tool that not only allows for greater focus and productivity in your life but can also offer a simple sustainability approach.

Dara Zycherman, Minimalist Lifestyle Coach and Professional Organizer will be inspiring our community to take steps towards minimilism with a focus on our impact on Mother Earth.

From how to responsibly dispose of items you no longer need, reduce your material consumption, to have greater focus on what’s most meaningful to you, minimalism addresses sustainability from all angles.
Minimalism helps us circumvent copious research and analysis in determining which type of product or material least impactful on the environment. Often minimalism’s answer is that you don’t need the item at all!

This presentation will include discussion and lots of time for Q+A.

ABOUT OUR EVENT LEADERS:

Dara has been called an organizer, a simplifier, a declutterer, a minimalist, a life coach, and at times, a nudge. With her business, Less Equals More, she strives to be all of the above -- supporting clients to develop both spaces and habits that reduces “stuff” and eases daily life.
She speaks about the subject, giving her first TEDx Talk in 2018 and blogs to reach more people with her message of simplicity. She also started the Meaningful Minimalism Group in Austin, TX to create community around this often solitary task: https://www.facebook.com/groups/meaningfulminimalism

CONSCIOUS COMMUNITY:
Our intention is to build an active, harmonious community of diverse, interesting women by offering meaningful activities in Nature (and online during Covid!) that allow our members to come together to have fun, while nurturing our minds, bodies, and spirits. Our desire is that this investment of time and energy will make it easier for us to open our hearts to forming new friendships that lead to lasting and meaningful relationships. Our goal is that every member feels comfortable and able to become further integrated into the WeWiN community and we welcome participants stepping forward to share their gifts by co-leading events with the community. All members are asked to not post or push promotions or sales pitches in order to promote authentic connection and openness. We further remind all members to keep personal conversations shared at events confidential. All women over 18 are welcome regardless of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, political affiliation or disability.

NOTICE OF ASSUMED RISK:
Everyone is responsible for taking care of their physical needs.
Women Empowering Women in Nature (WeWiN) organizers and event leaders are volunteers who do NOT maintain health, auto, home, life, accident, or other insurance policies applicable to members of this community.
