Being a micro business, acting bigger

Sarah made the leap four years ago to follow her passion and set up We Are Unstuck. It hasn’t always been easy, and Sarah is keen to share the lessons that she’s learned along the way about leaning in and demonstrating that even micro-businesses can have a big impact.

About Sarah:

Sarah is the Founder & MD at @weareunstuck ( https://twitter.com/weareunstuck ), also Board Director of @NottsLibraries ( https://twitter.com/NottsLibraries ). At the end of 2016 she was also a Finalist in the Nottingham Post Women In Business/Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Sarah loves helping people to build their creative confidence - you’ve been warned so don’t be surprised if this comes up in conversation with her! An exploration of Neo4J Graph

Samathy Barratt will be taking us on an interactive adventure into handling connected data using Graph Databases. Humanity is all about connections, and Graph Databases are the best way store, retrieve and query those connections. We will explore what a connected graph is and how to traverse it before jumping into how we can use graphs to store useful information. This talk is delivered in the language of the Neo4J Graph Database.

About Samathy:

Samathy is a High Performance Computer engineer at Rolls-Royce and a Coventry University student, always happy to talk about low-level software, teaching others and supporting a diverse and friendly tech community.

She's also a Coventry Pride Trustee, Trans-Code and PyConUK volunteer.

Samathy is incredibly social and loves meeting and talking to new people, so don't be shy with your questions. Find her on Twitter @Samathy_Barratt ( https://twitter.com/Samathy_Barratt ).
