In this Learn to Code workshop, you'll learn the essentials of HTML and CSS, both of which combine to make up the tools of virtually all web design.
What You'll Learn:

The foundations of HTML (structure, elements, tags, implementation)

CSS (attributes, selectors, the box model, page layout)
How to Prepare:

Bring your laptop, fully charged (bring your charger just in case)

Install the Atom text editor if you don't have a text editor. Go here: https://atom.io/

Room 363 is located on the third floor. Visitor parking is available in the parking garage and the adjacent lots located east of the Moody Drive and Theater Pass intersection. Areas are colored in gold and labeled “Parking Garage” and “All Permits Parking” on the attached map. Visitors will need to display a visitor parking permit on their dashboard.

Meet Your Instructor:
Cameron Buckingham is a Galvanize evangelist and a graduate of the Galvanize full stack immersive program. He previously served in the United States Coast Guard and worked as a production manager for a DC startup, where he discovered his passion for code. After graduating from Galvanize, he worked in big data at American Express to support companies such as Uber and McDonald's to drive a quicker pay-with-points system still in use by customers today.
