Details

Hey Coders,

Come write Python code at Rackspace! We are learning about beginner Python topics. We have a list of references at the end of the description

Each monthly meeting will begin with a quick overview of Python to make sure everyone is on the same page. Then there will be instruction and discussion on a Python topic. To wrap up, we will work through some code projects to practice what we learned.

Our goal for this group is that you will get a firm grounding in Python and will learn some basics of programming in general along the way. By the end of your time with the class, we want you to be able to code your own awesome ideas and apps!

This Month's Topic
TBD (check out the resources on https://nimbinatus.github.io/BeginnerCodersWWCATX/ )

If you are still getting started, please feel free to join us! We are a stress-free, fun group of people, all at different levels of experience.

Please bring a computer and try to have Python 2 or Python 3 installed (a walkthrough can be found in exercise 0 of Learn Python the Hard Way [see Resources at the end of this description]). If you cannot figure it out, we will be happy to help you get started.
