What’s a technology that can help you build the next Google, Amazon, or Facebook and help you identify cures for rare diseases? What’s a technology that can help in energy management, help prevent power outages like what happened in Texas in February 2021, help with contact tracing for COVID-19, and identify fraudulent detections?

Graph Databases!

Graph Databases are not new, but it’s one of the most rapidly growing technologies. MarketsandMarkets Research Private Ltd says that the graph database market is expected to reach $2.4 billion in annual revenue by 2023, growing at a 24% annual rate. That means the job market in this field will continue to be growing at an accelerated pace. A quick search on Dice.com, Indeed.com, and LinkedIn.com revealed a combined ~ 20k in Graph Database roles in the United States.

Come join Women Who Code and TigerGraph for a fun talk on why graph databases exist, what problems they are solving for and how to set-up an Indeed Job Graph!
