Hello all! Hola a todas!!
We're happy to announce that the very first chapter of Women Who Code in Spain is launching in Barcelona! Whoot!
If you’re unfamiliar, Women Who Code (WWCode) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women in tech. You can read more about the organization here (https://www.womenwhocode.com/).
Our goal is to provide women of the tech community of Barcelona a platform and community in which to grow their skills and become leaders in their field. We primarily do this by creating a support network through our events, talks, and hackathons related to tech.
Our launch event will be a Hack Day this Saturday, November 26th, at ThoughtWorks. The theme of this Hack Day is "what would you build improve the situation of women in tech in your community?"
All skill levels welcome! Techy ladies who already work in tech, techy ladies who would like to work in tech, techy ladies who just really like tech - join us and bring your ideas!

Women Who Code (WWCode) es una organización sin ánimo de lucro dedicada a promover las carreras de mujeres en el sector de la tecnología.
Nuestra meta es ofrecer a las mujeres en la comunidad tecnológica de Barcelona una plataforma y comunidad en la que puedan hacer crecer sus habilidades y convertirse en líderes de su campo. Hacemos esto mayoritariamente creando una red de soporte a través de eventos, charlas y hackathons relacionadas con la tecnología.
Nuestro evento de lanzamiento: será un Hack Day este sábado, 26 de noviembre, en ThoughtWorks. El tema del Hack es "¿qué construirías para mejorar la situación de las mujeres en el sector de la tecnología en tu ciudad?" Todo el mundo es bienvenido! Mujeres techy que ya trabajan en tech, chicas a las que les gustaría trabajar en tech, etc - únete a nosotros y trae tus ideas!
