[POSTPONED]"Communicating­ with Empathy for Developers" - A remote live TED Talk

This will be a lunchtime event held in Rapid7 at 12.30pm. Sharon Steed, an experienced speaker on empathy and communications, will be dialling in and giving her TEDx presentation on Communicating With Empathy For Developers. The talk will be 25mins long, starting at 12.35, and there will be refreshments and networking from 1pm-1.30pm.

Sharon's bio is as follows:

"To give a very brief background on me: I'm an empathy consultant, and I speak on improving communication and team collaboration with empathy actions. I stutter, and through stuttering I am able to more effectively teach tech audiences how to be more empathetic communicators so they can be better teammates. I've given a TEDx talk on empowering insecurities and have partnered with LinkedIn/Lynda.com on an hour-long course called Communicating with Empathy. I'm presenting a full-day workshop in Belfast on November 20 called Communicating with Empathy for Developers, and I'd like to get the word out about it by doing a TED-style talk with a Q&A about empathetic communication and why it's so valuable for your team at work."

The event will last for approx 40mins total, and lunch will be provided by Rapid7.
