Who said working in technology means you have to be a Java, C++/C# or Python developer? Join us for a series of show and tell 15-min lightning talks! We will learn about a variety of technology areas from software development with Go, website development with GatsbyJS, physics simulations in JS, to cloud architecture and security.

This talk will cover why you should use Go over other programming languages such as Python or Java. It will cover the features of Go which could prove beneficial to developers considering learning Go such as its concise and readable nature, it being unlike many OOP languages, and will also include a small live coding demo.

- Aine Canavan & Natasha Webster
Aine & Natasha will be presenting on Cloud Architecture (AWS) & Cloud Security best practices. This will cover a range of cloud services provided by Amazon, as well as the security strategy and policies involved in developing a Cloud infrastructure.

- Victoria Sloan
Gatsby is a blazing fast static site generator based on ReactJS. The aim of the talk is to give the audience an insight into how simple it can be to create a fast static site using Gatsby and GraphQL content queries.
