WWCode Go school [Workshop 2]

Interested in learning about Golang?! Like Gophers?

We will be guided through 4 workshops, including an introduction of Golang by Patrick Walker, Paddy Carey, Simon Hewitt and Alan Bradley. Very kindly sponsored by Puppet.

Halfway through the workshops, on the 3rd October we will be joining Belfast Gophers at their meetup (https://www.meetup.com/Belfast-Gophers/events/253133796/)
so come along!

This event is open to everyone and anyone who is keen on getting stuck in with some awesome Go workshops!

You can probably follow along for the first week through just the browser using the go playground so if you don't get a chance to install go and an editor don't worry!
Our mentors will be able to help on the day if you run into any problems!

Editor - I like VS Code as it's free and you may already have it for other languages but you can honestly use whatever you would like :slightly_smiling_face: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/languages/go has some instructions for it

Also if you can't make 1 of the weeks as something comes up, that's completely fine. Real life happens and we know that. The material will be up on github and available to everyone who would like to catch up.
