Social Distanced Working - Adapting to Change: a panel event with FinTrU

Details

Covid-19 has transformed the way we work; from having conference calls with our pets as guests, virtual coffees and perhaps juggling with homeschooling. With lockdown restrictions easing, join Women Who Code and panelists from the Technology team at FinTrU as we reflect on how we have adapted to this change, the challenges we have faced, and the lessons we have learned to take us forward.

This event will be a lunchtime event, so bring your lunch and join us for some great socially distanced conversation! We'll be using Zoom for the session and the Q&A functionality for questions, it will be super informal and a great way to kick off your weekend 🥳

Our panelists

  • Ross Gillespie: Head of IT
Ross is the Technology Team Lead at FinTrU and during lockdown has been home-schooling four kids

  • Helen Miskimmon: Vice President
As Vice President Helen is heavily involved with recruiting and supporting new members throughout daily project management.

  • Ian Anderson: Infrastructure Engineer
One of the few back into the FinTrU office, Ian is getting everything ready for new guidelines and social distancing practices in work.

  • Joanna Goodman: UX Designer
Joanna joined FinTrU during lockdown, having applied and interviewed remotely; the Women Who Code team are really looking forward to talking about this experience as we navigate this 'new normal'.
