The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that can run programs, connect to the Internet, and do many of the things that your desktop computer does. In addition, however, it can be easily incorporated into electronics projects that connect to the physical world. In this workshop, we'll provide a brief introduction to the Raspberry Pi hardware and instructions on setting up Raspbian OS. We'll then break into groups to hack on mini programs that explore the use of sensors, LEDs, and audio. Code examples will be provided to get started, so ALL LEVELS of programming experience are welcome.
Food and drinks will be in abundance, including raspberry pie! :)
