The Language of Languages

Details
It's back! Start the year off with our popular The Language of Languages event.
Are you considering learning how to code, but don't know where to start? Do you have an idea for a web application or an app, but aren't sure which is the best platform to build it in? Are you a Product Manager that wants to better communicate with engineers on your team? Or do you simply want to learn what the differences are between Python, Ruby, HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, and the seemingly endless number of terms you hear when people talk about programming?
This event will introduce you to many common terms that might otherwise look like alphabet soup when you first start out. We will start from the ground up to explain what each language is useful for, and what makes them different from each other.
This event is perfect for beginners trying to decide which coding "path" to take. It is also useful for developers who want to expand their high-level understanding of new languages!
Come get engaged, invigorated, and ready to hit the ground running with code in 2017!
Note: This event is intended to be exclusively open for people who identify as women - we are transgender friendly.
