Pitch Bootcamp (STARTUP HACKATHON WORKSHOP PT. 1)

Details

Have an idea that solves a problem? Thinking about launching your own startup/company?

Get ready for Women Who Code DC's first Startup Hackathon. Learn how to market test your idea while working on a fun coding project with a team of developers. If you've ever wondered what it takes to succeed in a startup, this is the place to learn!

In preparation for our Startup Hackathon, we'll be hosting 3 optional workshops. As the first in this series, learn the basics of pitching your idea. Pitches come in a variety of formats and time constraints. During the Startup Hackathon, pitches will be limited to 60 seconds. Learn what needs to be in your pitch for the Startup Hackathon, and then practice pitching in small groups.

It’s ok if you don’t have your own idea or don’t want to reveal your idea yet - we’ll provide some examples you can use to practice as a pitch.
