Are you curious about APIs or incorporating external APIs into a Rails application? Do you want to learn about Gravatar and how it can improve your application and your user's experience? Come out to Women Who Code's talk on understand what are API's and how to use the Gravatar API within a Rails application. One of our awesome leads, Zuri Hunter is going to give a mini-workshop on how you can use Gravatar within a demo Ruby on Rails application.
This mini-workshop requires having Rails, Ruby and Git installed on your laptop. If you do not have any of the following tools installed you can follow this guide here (http://installrails.com/).
This event is intended to be exclusively open for people who identify as women - we are transgender friendly.
Please bring a laptop to the event so you can participate in this workshop!
