Speakers so far:

• Patricia Cupueran - CRUD Actions and RESTful APIs

-- About the Speaker --

I enjoy implementing software solutions that help to make people's life easier and better. I was inspired to become a web developer after I have attended a Rails Girls meeting and other programming meetings for women in tech. After I completed a 12-week web development course working first hand on interesting projects, I am now working as a software engineer, learning to use my experience in other business areas together with my engineering skills.

-- About the Topic --

During the talk, I would like to talk about CRUD actions and/or RESTful API's

• Ju Liu - Sonic PI

-- About the Speaker --

Ju was born in a metropolis in China, then moved as a kid to the sunny italian countryside. He got a degree in Computer Science and cofounded a consulting company in Turin. After some time, he started a new adventure and moved to London, where he joined AlphaSights as a Lead Engineer. He loves to solve hard problems and build amazing products. When he’s not doing that, he’s probably rock climbing.

-- About the Topic --
Sonic PI is a free live coding synth where you can write code to compose and perform music. In this talk, I will go through the main features of the application and show how easy it is to start composing your own pieces writing plain old Ruby. Then, we will move on to the more advanced synth features, using multiple threads and sample manipulation to start producing more complex tracks. After all that, we get the party started with some live coding!
