Why Learn ReactJS?
Everything is made of components which have a well-defined life cycle
React uses JSX which allows writing HTML with Javascript
React renders very fast with virtual DOM.

In prep for this event:

1. Bring your laptop

2. Download a text editor such as Sublime Text 3 (https://www.sublimetext.com) or Atom (https://atom.io) (you can download this for free).

3. Install Node (https://nodejs.org/en/) and Yarn (https://yarnpkg.com/en/) What is a Technical Study Group?

Women Who Code Technical Study Groups are events where everyone can come together and help each other learn and understand a specific programming language, technology, or anything related to coding, engineering, or design.

We welcome developers of all levels and encourage those with more experience to help out those that are just starting. There's always at least one mentor or leader present to help you with best practices or to guide you through if you are stuck with a nasty problem! :)
