Git 101 - Understanding Git Workshop ✨

Details
Join us to learn more of what we can do with using Git.
Joy Seng, our organiser and co-director at Le Wagon Melbourne, will be demonstrating GitFlow, a popular branching model for Git using command-line tools.
And Princy James, our organiser and Mobile developer with REA group will take us through the process of how to test and merge a pull request.
In this workshop, we will visit the common Git workflows and GitHub. Then we'll back it up a bit in order to explore Git from a conceptual level and wrap our heads around it fully. GitHub is a resource you will want to know how to use. GitHub is a code hosting service for version control using git 🙌
Join us for an evening of learning what Git is and how to use some of its features. 🙌
Please pre-install Git on your laptop (http://git-scm.com/book/en/Getting-Started-Installing-Git). If you need any help, come along early for setup 😁.
Please create a Github account on https://github.com/
