Interview Prep Series: STAR Interviewing Method And Graphs
Details
This technical interview prep series is for anyone looking for guidance on the technical and non-technical aspects of the technical interview process (can you say "technical" one more time?). Each talk is standalone and will go over one non-technical topic and one or more data structures or algorithms. The talk format is:
- 5 minute recap of how the technical interview process works. This will be the same for each talk so you can join in anytime
- 15 minute talk on a non-technical topic
- 30 - 45 minute talk on an interviewing technique with definitions, examples, and Q & A
The presentations will aim to be language agnostic, using pseudocode to outline concepts and solutions. There may be language specific examples.
Topics for this week:
- Shine Like A STAR: Using the STAR method in behavioral interviews
- An Ode to A Node: Graph structure and traversal
