💻 Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™

Join us for an overview of OpenVINO with DevCloud demos. The Intel team will introduce you to computer vision workflow using the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit including support for deep learning models that help accelerate smart video applications. You will learn how to optimize and improve performance with and without external accelerators and utilize tools to help you identify the best hardware configuration for your needs. After the presentation, Intel engineers will be available to answer technical and career questions.

Priyanka Bagade

  • PhD in Computer Science from Arizona State University, 2015
  • 4 years at Intel
  • Vision Architect: Architect deep learning features and enable them with the latest Intel hardware for Intel® DevCloud for the edge.

Whitney Foster

  • BS in Computer Science and BA in Asian Studies from Cornell University
  • 9 years at Intel
  • Application Engineer: Collaborate with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and System Integrators (SIs) on application development.

👩🏻 WWCode Event Host

Caterina Paun (she/her) is the Senior Director and co-founder of WWCode Portland. She works as a Senior Instructor in the Computer Science Department at Portland State University, where she teaches classes on web and voice development. She has worked with Intel to offer 25 Intel Edge AI Scholarships to WWCode Portland members for the Udacity Nanodegree.
