  • The Cost of Unpaid Labor - Care work, which is primarily done by women around the world, is essential to our society and our lives. And yet that work is largely unrecognized and undervalued.
  • The Motherhood Tax - When they become mothers, women often have to put their careers on hold, either by quitting their jobs or cutting down their hours. How can the workforce become more accommodating for mothers?
  • Medical Disparities - The chapters in โ€œPart IV: Going to the Doctorโ€ outlined how the medical establishment is failing women, by testing out medication on primarily male subjects to dismissing womenโ€™s pain. How can we address this?
  • What quotes, studies, or parts of the book resonated the most with you? What did you relate to the most? Why?

Join us on our Slack in the #book-club channel to start discussing the book.
