[Online] The Power of Accessibility and Creativity: p5.js

Join us and learn about p5.js in this fun and informative talk by Charlean Baxter!

Approaching code can be intimidating as a beginner, especially when you see how fast more experienced web developers approach coding challenges. The uncertainty of handling error messages and not having clarity of how to even start can be crushing to the aspirations of a novice coder. The thoughts can often overshadow the excitement of wanting to learn code and prevent creativity. Fortunately, there are supportive, inclusive resources in this community called meetup groups, mentors, bootcamps, webinars, and open-source libraries. Charlean will show you how she re-connected to her excitement with coding through p5.js.

Speaker:
Charlean Baxter is an Associate Instructor at LEARN Academy, an educational institution that specializes in full stack web development. She began her journey as a student at LEARN Academy in September 2021. Transitioning from a Full Stack Web Development student to an Associate Instructor is a highlight of her coding journey. Her quest is to help others use fears, mistakes, and challenges as teaching tools and fuel to push forward to success.
