Authenticity supports inclusion by pushing the boundaries of what we find acceptable; inclusion supports authenticity by inviting us to be all of who we really are.

About the lecturer:

👩🏾‍💻 Busi is a People Development Business Partner at Uber. She joined Uber almost 5 years ago in South Africa, helping to build and scale the business in all Uber markets across Sub-Saharan Africa. Before Uber, she built a 12-year career in marketing and broadcast as an executive producer in education, sport and film at Octagon and Endemol.

Her first film project premiered at the 2015 Los Angeles Film Festival, winning the Special Jury Prize in the World Fiction Competition. She now focuses on building a learning culture at Uber, creating scalable learning solutions and products to develop Uber's Engineering talent, leaders and teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

She is also a global leader in diversity and inclusion, creating and facilitating D&I training, delivering keynote addresses and partnering with the Executive leadership at Uber to create inclusion for underrepresented minorities as a global co-chair for the Black at Uber employee resource group.
