Join us for a fun evening learning Ruby and Sonic Pi

Sonic Pi lets you compose music via Ruby code and is available on a few platforms (including Raspberry Pi).

This is open to all skill levels.

If you are a beginner you will learn some Ruby, if you are an experienced you'll have fun with Sonic Pi :)

-- What you'll need --

You'll need your laptop for this session and Sonic-Pi pre-installed.

-- Setup Beforehand --

Head over to http://sonic-pi.net/ and download the installation package for your computer (e.g. mac, windows)

-- Agenda --

  • 6.00 - 6.30: Arrivals + networking

  • 6.30 - 6:45: Intros & Demo of Sonic Pi

  • 6.45: Coding time

  • 8:30: Pack up

We'll pair attendees with coaches during coding time
