Meet Your New Tampa Directors

Details

Join WWCode Tampa and meet your new Tampa Directors. Taylor, Kasandra, and Liz are excited to meet you all, as they take over the reins from Kiki and Betty. They have some exciting things in the works, but they also want to get to know you!

This virtual event will be casual, without a set agenda. Want to share something you’ve been working on? Tell us about it! Have an idea for an event you would like us to put together? Let us know! Just want to hang out and network with fellow women in tech in Tampa? Grab a drink or a snack and join us!

If you’ve never been to a local Women Who Code event, this is the perfect event to begin with as we start our new journey together! If you’ve been to a lot of local events, we can’t wait to meet you.

About the Speakers:

Taylor Dunworth is a designer and front-end developer based in St. Petersburg, Florida. She currently works as a UI/UX engineer at Presence and runs a branding design studio, The Sunshine Creative. She’s worked within multiple industries including tech, beauty, finance, food service, and fashion focusing on brand design and strategy, user-centered design, web accessibility, and translating designs into code. Outside of her involvement in the tech industry, she splits her time between tea shops, local craft breweries, and Walt Disney World. Most importantly, she’s a professional dog petter (ask any dog who’s met her).

Kasandra Perez is an IT & Business Training Strategist helping build the tech ecosystem in Tampa Bay. She currently works as the Chief Career Strategist at Computer Coach IT Training Center, is the Co-Founder of HireUP Florida, LinkedIn Local Tampa Bay and serves on the board for Women in Technology Int. She’s worked in several industries including EdTech, Technical Recruiting, and Career Coaching. She’s an all-around techie, lover of all things baseball, and mom of three humans that will change our future for the better. Born and raised in Key West, FL, she spends as much time as possible on the water, when she’s not on the baseball field.

Liz Tiller is a Tampa-based Javascript Developer, community organizer, and educator helping to teach the next generation of developers. She currently works as a full-time consultant for AgileThought, and part-time instructor for the Academy at Suncoast Developers Guild. As a recovering film academic, she finished the front-end engineering program at The Iron Yard in February 2017 and is passionate about web accessibility, over-analyzing movies, her cats, and Bellydance.
