In this talk, I'll discuss the development of "Autoframe", POF's framework for automating functional and layout testing of desktop and responsive web applications using C#, Selenium Web Driver and Specflow.

Title: Locking, Blocking, and Transactions: How to Share Toys in the Sandbox
Topic: In a fast-pace, high-volume SQL system, learn the mechanisms we use to control access to data and how queries and updates impact the system. I will go through the basic transaction isolation levels, how they work, and why it's important to know. Learn why NO LOCK <> NO BLOCK, and how to play nicely with all the other kids in the sandbox. We will also talk about how things like replication, mass updates, and simple SELECT statements can cause issues and how to solve for them.
