Aarushi is a developer from Australia who was introduced to Go for the first time at Deliveroo. She's a backend engineer with experience in mobile development as well. She's passionate about increasing diversity and promoting women in tech.
Carmen Ruiz Vicente
Carmen is a senior engineer at DeepMind Health, where she works on technologies that help improve patient healthcare. Previously, she was a member of Google beacon platform that integrates beacon technology with first and third party apps, and Google’s privacy engineering team. Prior to joining Google in 2013, she was a post-doctoral researcher at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Spain).
Carmen completed her Ph.D. at the Center for Data Intensive Systems in Aalborg University, Denmark.
Entrance to the building is next to Hello Fresh reception on Vandy street.
The best way to access Vandy street would be from Worship street as at the moment there's Thames water work on the other side (Snowden street), it might be cleared up by then - but just in case.
A big thanks to our wonderful sponsor Geckoboard (https://www.geckoboard.com/careers) for making this happen!
This event is for anyone that identifies themselves as women and/or gender-minority publicly or privately.
