Audrey is currently an Engineering Manager at Thought Machine. She started off as a Software Engineer at Thought Machine in 2018 after doing a conversion masters in Computer Science and has been a manager since 2020.
=========
Dimitra Zucarelli - Software Engineer at Ravelin using Go to fight crime
Understanding the building blocks of Git.
=========
Isobel Ormiston - Engineering Manager, Thought Machine
Please is an open-source build system created and maintained by engineers at Thought Machine, to automate the building and testing of software. Engineers writing code at Thought Machine are just one simple setup file away from asking Please to “plz build”, “plz test” and even “plz deploy” their code, whatever the language (almost)! This talk will introduce Please and compare it to other ways you might build and run your code.
Izzy has worked at Thought Machine for two years, and is the Engineering Manager of the Developer Experience team, which is responsible for the CI/CD testing pipeline amongst other things. Prior to Thought Machine she wrote router software at Cisco and worked as a backend developer at a big data startup.
