What we're about
We are excited for you to join our book club!
I am new to the area and miss my old book club terribly so I decided to start my own basing everything I learned from them. We are looking for women of any age who are energetic, fun, and intelligent that enjoys adventure a good book provides. We will typically meet 3-4 weeks in Crystal Lake and the surrounding areas for dinner to discuss our thoughts on the chosen book. Our meetings will usually be held during the week and we will try to alternate days to accommodate everyone's schedules.
Our books will be chosen by the members. After we read the books listed below an email will be sent asking you to choose 3-4 books. I will then combine all the suggestions and put them in a survey monkey. The results from the survey monkey will be our books over the next several months. The books we will be reading through June are below: The Address: A Novel By: Fiona Davis on Wednesday January 17
When You Reach Me By: Rebecca Stead on Monday November 12
Last Christmas in Paris by: Hazel Gaynor on Thursday December 13
Where the Crawdad's Sing by Delia Owens on Wednesday January 16
The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas on Tuesday February 12
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn on Monday March 11
An American Wedding by Tayari Jones on Tuesday April 9
Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng on Monday May 13
