Deep Dive: How To Create Equal Opportunity In Your Virtual Meetings

Do you ever come out of a virtual meeting feeling frustrated because you or others couldn’t get a word in edgewise? Or maybe you’ve felt disappointed when group members’ comments and interruptions have derailed your virtual presentation? Do you feel like it was easier for everyone to get their voice heard in the days when face to face meetings were the norm?

The causes of these psychologically unsafe virtual environments may be deeply rooted, and the the solution may not be a one-size-fits-all. This meetup is two pronged: we’ll learn about a tool that can help us tailor strategies for creating equal opportunity in our virtual spaces, and then we’ll unpack/brainstorm what some of those strategies might look like in our specific situations.

Join us as Socotra Williams and Kaluhi Anzigale of ‘The Remote Coaches’ share powerful tools related to Virginia Satir’s toolkit and integration model, then facilitate as together we look for ways to practically apply those tools to our unique contexts.
