Join PyLadies and Women in Big Data for a hands-on tutorial on creating compelling and interactive visualizations of geographic data in Python. PyLadies organizer Sylvia Tran will lead an interactive coding workshop with Folium and Bokeh, two popular visualization libraries.

About the speakers:
Sylvia Tran is a Data Scientist at OpenDrives. She was previously a TA and graduate of General Assembly's Data Science Immersive program. Sylvia was formerly a Director at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, and has 10 years of experience in business risk analysis, and financing mergers & acquisitions. She holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from UCLA.

For our parking structures, we suggest our McCarthy Way parking lot at the intersection of McCarthy Way and Figueroa St. in Los Angeles, CA. There is a parking charge of $12 that you can pay at the gate.
