The panel discussion will touch on how to be an active LGBTQIA+ ally, uncovering the challenges, prejudices and unconscious bias facing the LGBTQIA+ community. In an empowering discussion to acknowledge that even the technology world is progressive, there is still more work to be done to create a truly inclusive workplace.

Jessica Chappell
Jessica Chappell is a DevOps Engineer at Epistemix, Inc. Prior to her current role, she was the lead support and operations engineer at Cisco for a container orchestration platform used by internal engineering clients. She’s worked in the DevOps realm since May 2018, getting her start at Informatica as a DevOps Engineer for a data governance project. She was able to start her role at Informatica with no formal certifications or training. Prior to working at Informatica, she was a US Marine, personal trainer, line cook, and food truck manager.

Aubrey Stearn
Aubrey is currently the Interim CTO at Oakam, a dynamic micro-lending start-up. She’s previously held interim roles at Nationwide, Arcadia, PizzaHut and Travelodge. A developer at heart & former head of IT Operations, she understands the synergy possible with DevOps.

Stefania Chaplin
Stefania Chaplin is EMEA's Solution Architect at Secure Code Warrior. Her experience within Cybersecurity, DevSecOps and OSS governance means she's helped countless organisations understand and implement security throughout their SDLC. As a python developer at heart, Stefania is always improving efficiency wherever she goes by scripting and automating processes and creating integrations. Stefania is passionate about DevSecOps and cybersecurity, having spoken at many conferences across; RSA Conference, ADDO, JavaZone, JFokus, ESOC MENA, Mauritius Virtual Developers Conference, Women of Silicon Roundabout, Women in DevOps, DZone and on the Secure Code Warrior Brighttalk.

Emre Celik
Emre is an Employee Relations Partner at Google. In his role, Emre looks after the well-being of Google's employees - investigating possible discrimination, harassment and other workplace disputes where viewpoints have hardened. At the end of an investigation, Emre will make a recommendation regarding appropriate action. He also advises colleagues from the HR department on reorganizations within the company.

Reenu Saluja
Reenu is a subject matter expert in the evolving landscape of enterprise analytics and is a Senior Software Engineer with the Commercial Software Engineering (CSE) team at Microsoft and. CSE is a global engineering organization that works directly with the largest companies and not-for-profits in the world to tackle their most significant technical challenges.

Susie Coleman
Susie is a software engineer at Spotify and is part of a team that focuses on defining what users can buy from Spotify. Previously she worked at the BBC on the GoURMET Project which aimed to use and improve neural machine translation for low-resource language pairs and domains and at the Guardian on the Editorial Tools team.
