OVERVIEW
Our members can join and participate in small groups, or Communities. These groups are built around job functions and key areas. TAO STEAM’s mission is to unify Central Oregon’s women in STEAM community, with the vision of enabling Central Oregon’s women to reach their full STEAM potential. Our work supports the following goals:

• Create paths for girls and women interested in STEAM careers

• Establish a platform for connections, resources and opportunities

• Enable ongoing education opportunities for career growth and prosperity

ABOUT US
TAO STEAM is a community-based organization working together to unify Central Oregon’s STEAM community and tip the scale in favor of a gender-balanced future. We recognize the challenges faced by women in STEAM fields, and believe these can only be tackled by a gender-inclusive, collaborative approach. That’s why we look to partner and collaborate with the community, businesses, organizations and individuals to serve as a resource for learning, growth and outreach, for both women and Central Oregon as a whole.

WOMEN IN STEAM MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Mentorship is an important and gratifying way to support women in STEAM careers in our community. If you are interested in being a mentor or looking for a mentor, please fill out a short questionnaire to help match you with another badass woman for mentorship. COMMITTEE
Each Community is managed by volunteer-led committees that organize special events, projects and outreach. Our TAO STEAM committee consists of thought leaders from the public, private, nonprofit and academic sectors.
