Our July meetup will be hosted by SIGNAL ICT Graduate School.

We will hearing from two inspiring speakers who will share their experiences and give some pointers on how to network effectively and find connections that help you achieve your objectives.

Fiona Scott
Operations and Engagement Coordinator at SIGNAL – ICT Graduate School

Fiona has long been involved in education with eight years as a secondary school teacher and then three years working in outreach at Lincoln University. Now she has moved into the graduate area with a keen fascination for IT education and its potential for future learning for students and educators.

In her role in operations and engagement at the Christchurch office, Fiona is enjoying the opportunity to work in the Innovation Precinct and to be a part of establishing a new and exciting venture with IT professionals, students, academics and other passionate people!

She will be discussing the intricacies of networking (negotiating!) with five different tertiary providers, multiple industry contacts and potential students in order to introduce SIGNAL to the world.

Gill Dal Din
Strategic Business Connector

Gill believes it’s a relationship driven world that’s underpinned by trust and the power of the speed of trust. She actively connects businesses, people and resources to accelerate growth and greater commercial value.

Her philosophy is simple -" If I don't know, I'll connect you with someone who does!".

Gill manages two of ChristchurchNZ’s flagship business growth programmes namely The High Growth Launch Programme and The Amplifier Programme bringing strategic business connections to these businesses.

She is commercially aware having owned three SME businesses in a diverse range of industry sectors ranging from Cosmetic dentistry and franchising to a national events company promoting socially conscious businesses.
