Exhausted, overwhelmed and in need of a radical change?

The other day I had a woman approach me asking when I’d be hosting my next open retreat.  Upon learning that all my upcoming retreats were closed programs, unavailable to the general public, she eagerly begged, “well can you make one for us and host it soon!?”  A slight laugh slide out with a grin as I was about to speak but then I saw the look on her face -- it was firm and desperate.

She jumped back in exclaiming “It sounds funny but I’m very serious. I feel like I’m on the verge of a breakdown and I need to get away, I need to slow down and get clear on what it is I'm doing in the world because I can’t keep going at this pace and I cant keep doing it alone…”

She continued,  “I have all these ideas but I don’t know where to begin and my job isn't the place for that so I just feel lost and overwhelmed. Plus Im working crazy hours and have no time for myself! I need a vacation... like yesterday! But I don’t want it to be mindless...I want it to help me get clear and connected...”

Can anyone relate?

I know I can.  I’ve been there before, a few times even... on the verge of burnout, frustrated and alone, questioning my work, asking myself if it's even having an impact while desperately longing for the best way to maximize my creativity and tap into my gifts.

Knowing how it feels to be completely exhausted and yearning for support when you just can’t seem to find it, I told her that I was going to commit to a few things but that I would need her help to do them.

In fact, I’ll need the help of everyone here which I’m why I’m going to tell you everything I told her. My three commitments to her and now to each of you are:

  1. Over the next couple of months I’ll be creating a larger plan for regular offerings and designing an open program that will launch this fall for millennial women changemakers like yourself who are ready to dive into the deep inner work of sustaining global impact and have fun while doing it.  You’re insights and input into this process will allow me to tailor programming directly to you so please share your insights here. Survey takes 4-5mins.

  2. I’ll take on three new 1:1 clients who want to focus on creating or sustaining a global impact. Interested individuals can schedule a free Global Impact Call here.

  1. For those of you on the verge of burnout who really cannot bear the thought of going much longer without a break, I will host a week-long VIP Recharge & Renew Retreat May 26th-31st in Cambodia. Note that this would be a highly personalised experience for a core group of women ready to take a stand for their well being by prioritizing self-care and clarifying what exactly you’re here on earth to help create. Find out more and apply here by May 2nd if interested.

Sending you all love and light as you close out the week!
