What we're about

This group is for women that are looking to grow their social circle. I wanted to make a group that offered a variety of events for women. Here are a few event ideas;

-Happy Hours (as everyone has as one)

-Dinners (again not something you have not seen already)

-Volunteering events -Local events (farmers markets, state fair, renaissance festival, and any others that pop up)

-Sporting events

-Movies

-Pinterest events (finally get to make the things that you pin)

-LivingSocial/ Groupon events (great way to try new things on a budget)

-Plays

-Religion (events for some of us to talk about what religion means to us) -Girly events (shopping, spa days, nails)

-Networking events

I am 100% open to all ideas and events that you would like us to go too. I am excited to meet everyone and grow wonderful friendships.

Also check out the Facebook page created to create conversation easier than the meetup.com website. Facebook page is under the same name of this group. Message me if you are unable to find it!

## EVENT INFORMATION

***

Water Lantern Festival is filled with fun, happiness, hope, and great memories that you'll cherish for a lifetime. This is a family friendly event that can be shared by everyone. Friends, families, neighbors, and lots of people that you haven't met can come together to create a peaceful, memorable experience.

## What's Included

Each adult ticket comes with the following:

  • Wristband for entry into the festival area with access to food trucks
  • Floating lantern kit
  • LED candle
  • Commemorative drawstring bag
  • Marker
  • Lantern retrieval and water clean up

The price covers the cost of collecting and removing the lanterns from the water following the event as well as cleaning up any trash that may have been previously been in or around the water.

*Bring a chair or something to sit on for the evening*

**Closer to the event there will be information about parking. In the past, they usually use Maplewood Mall as the location and bus us to Phalen Park. I HIGHLY recommend this option as there will be very limited parking around the park.**
