Firstly thankyou to Laura for creating this group. I will endeavour to continue with her spirit, warmth & passion.
The group is for all the amazing wild & warm-hearted women out there, who love walking across & discovering beautiful green spaces whilst immersed in conversations that touch our hearts & refresh ourselves.
It's for those of us who identify as gay or bi, for those or for those of us who find ourselves sliding on the sexuality scale and would like to enjoy the company of other gay women. It's for all those questioning their sexuality, and for those of us in full ownership and enjoyment of it.
Walk & talk is a safe space for women of all ages.
In this group, the spirit of women is celebrated. I encourage you to relax into yourself, feeling safe & supported in the company we are in. If you're feeling shy, come walk beside me.
Walk with the intention to drop our judgements of others, to show up for opportunity of connection or just to ‘be’ in the company of like-minded women under the wide open sky.
If you have a dog they are very welcome and please make sure your dog is at ease with others if you would like to bring them.
What kind of walks will there be?
Walk & talk is all about being together outside in nature making new friendships, feeling connected & rejuvenated whilst exploring new places.
We will aim for walks either on a Saturday or Sunday with a mix of mornings and afternoons in Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire areas.
There will be walks that end with picnics in beautiful spots with heart opening views. Where we discover clear streams we can dip our feet & refresh ourselves & our spirits, or simply sit beside for a moment and just be. There'll be moments when we walk in silence, and if you love singing: sing! Just be yourself.
Each walk will be minimum 2/3 hours and we'll begin with a 15min arrival period to meet & greet.
I very much look forward to meeting you on a walk & talk soon.
Bring drinks & food for yourself. Always wear comfortable water-proof shoes, bring rain-coats and umbrellas.
