Sustainability: Using Blockchain to track Reporting and Reputation
Details
Special Announcement: Anyone attending Burningman2018 or DevCon4 in Prague - Women in Blockchain is planning events there...stay tuned.
Amy Seidman, Founder, CEO, will introduce BFlow, a blockchain reporting solution, and protocol for reporting and validation of United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)
Data, validated by trusted third parties and submitted to the blockchain, is used to establish reputation and track reporting by public and private organizations, such as businesses, intergovernmental agencies, and investment funds.
BFlow’s Target is to solve the gap in the source, validity and transparency of data, specifically how it corresponds to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
This feedback loop will enable efficiency in business, help philanthropic decisions and drive sustainability. It will support livelihoods, natural resources, our climate, our food, our air and much more.
Amy will introduce common use cases and talk about the role of data in driving positive impact across industries: Sustainability markets, investment and business, peer to peer (P2P), energy, provenance and supply chain, education, sharing and other sectors bringing in $12T of value.
In this session you will also gain a better understanding of challenges:
- use of a new, cutting edge technology vs the need for fast, saleable solutions
- the diversity of data frameworks vs ability to compare data sets via standards
- many blockchain solutions vs need for interoperability
