Update Feb. 22, 2014: Ayya Sudhamma, the founder of this group, has moved from Greenville (founding the Charlotte Buddhist Vihara). The current resident female-monk at Carolina Buddhist Vihara in Mauldin (Greenville), Ven. Ayya Sudinna, continues to lead the meditations. Ven. Sudinna welcomes inquiries from women interested in meditation or other Buddhist teachings, and is willing to teach any time. Call her at: (864) 329-9961(864) 329-9961.
(Women only.) Meditate together in a lovely little Buddhist shrine room. Learn Buddhist meditation techniques. Discuss Buddhist philosophy and how it can help to improve our lives. We meet at 9 AM on Tuesdays. Additional meeting times are possible.
If you have resolved to become a more relaxed, well-adjusted, happier, less violent, less angry, and more kind, peaceful, patient person, this meeting is a good way to begin. It is also a good way to make friends with people who also seek an inner solution to life's challenges.
No fee to attend; donations are welcome but not expected.
