Notice this ride is now ride scheduled for June 30th.

This will be an advanced XC endurance ride of about 30 miles and 5,000 feet of climbing. It is the short version of the 2017 Mt. Hood Endurance Classic. It includes Knebal Springs, Eightmile Creek, Fivemile Butte, and Surveyor's Ridge. It will NOT include Fifteenmile Creek. It is not strenuous or technical, but I expect anyone who joins me to be confident of their fitness level, and of their ability to use GPS to navigate out if for some reason they get separated from the group or have to turn back early. Plan to be out for about 4 hours of riding, not including breaks. Pack a lunch and please have GPS route downloaded on your phone or GPS unit. Last year navigation went smoothly because all 3 of us had the route.

We did this ride last year and it was one of the highlights of the season! And I am really looking forward to riding it again. It's just a beautiful day of XC enjoying the views and wildflowers.
