Hosted by women, for women, we will emphasize basic skill development in roadside maintenance and cycling safety for commuters, road and mountain cyclists, and casual weekend riders. All level welcomed!
Our meet up location is at Good Karma Bikes. Good Karma Bikes is a bicycle based non-profit catering to foster youth and the homeless community. You will have access to a bike stand and all the tools you'll need to fix your bicycle! Don't have a bike? We've got you covered. Open shop and class hours start at 6:30pm and end at 9pm every other Tuesday of the month. If you plan to ride your bike in we provide a Lyft service option if it gets late for you to ride back home. Curriculum of class will vary each night to suit the needs of does in attendance.
Most importantly this group was developed to further empower women in the community to do it for themselves! Women's Night was created as a safe space for women to wrench on bicycles together and generate comradeship in a fun, empowering atmosphere. We'll see next class!
