Woodland Presbyterian Church (http://woodlandnash.org) is a progressive community of faith. Our diverse congregation embraces social justice and forward-thinking beliefs about God, Jesus, and the world. These beliefs include ensuring a welcoming and affirming space for all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, and/or socioeconomic status.
The Lean In Study Group aims to build congregational vitality by leaning into Woodland Presbyterian Church’s More Light and Matthew 25 commitments as an LGBTQIA+ affirming and anti-oppression faith community. Through open discussion and meaningful study, we attempt to answer the question "How do we turn God’s love for all people into individual and communal action?"
You can join us each Sunday at 9:45am before service for our thematic weekly Bible studies. On the last Sunday of each month, we also have our book club at 1pm following service. All meetings are hosted via Zoom until further notice. More details on how to attend here (https://woodlandnash.org/ministries/lean-in/).
