What we're about

Woodland Presbyterian Church is a progressive community of faith. Our diverse congregation embraces social justice and forward-thinking beliefs about God, Jesus, and the world. These beliefs include ensuring a welcoming and affirming space for all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, and/or socioeconomic status.

You can join us at service each Sunday or in fellowship at our monthly book studies, potlucks, young adult events, and various service opportunities. Whether you're searching for a church home, returning to spirituality, or simply exploring Christianity, Woodland has a space at the table for you.

BOOK STUDY: Embracing the Body: Finding God in Our Flesh & Bone - Ch. 3-5

Tara M. Own's Embracing the Body: Finding God in Our Flesh and Bones calls us to take note of our relationships with embodiment. Because no matter your individual belief systems or values there's at least one thing we can agree on: we all have bodies, and we all have feelings about our bodies. In this book study, we will be exploring how these feelings relate to faith and our understandings of God. Please join us for our reading discussion (Ch. 3-5) on Sunday, 9/22 at 9:45am in the back office behind our Sanctuary. (There will be signs!) All our welcome to attend, including first-time visitors! Refreshments and snacks available!
