Welcome to the Woodside-Sunnyside Runners! We are based in western Queens but are not confined to those two fine neighborhoods. Join us from near or far.

We have weekly runs in, around, and outside our neighborhoods, and we organize community and charity events, destination runs and social events.

Thursday Morning 3-Mile Wake Up Run

Rise and shine, it's almost the weekend! Join us for a casual 3-mile loop between Woodside and Jackson Heights, starting at 6:30AM. All paces are welcome, and nobody gets left behind -- we always keep things cool and fun. We will wait up to 5 minutes to allow for late arrivals. Thursday Evening 6ish Mile Run for All (Note new earlier time!!)

This is a go-at-your-own pace run that caters to people of all levels. If on any given night, there is a large group with a wide range in ability, we have two leaders who each tend to people with different paces. We will meet just inside the 52nd Street entrance to Windmuller Park at 7:15pm and head out for a 6ish mile loop through Woodside, Sunnyside, LIC, and Greenpoint, before returning to the start. For our evening runs, we will wait up to 10 minutes to allow for late-arrivals. This can mean we will wait for 2 minutes or 10. Please be prompt. We are back to 9:30am for fall and winter! This will be a very casual pace run - in other words, all are welcome to participate, and no runners will be left behind. We may wait up to 10 minutes to allow for late-arrivals. This can mean we could wait for 2 minutes or 10. 6 at 6 - Six Mile Run at 6am

Windmuller Park Track

We'll meet just inside the park entrance at 52nd St. and 39th Dr. at 6:00 a.m. for our 6 mile loop from Woodside to LIC and back. The pace for this run will be between 8- 8:30 minutes per mile with the potential of some tempo, fartlek and hill workouts if everyone is in agreement at the start. This will be one of our less casual runs but will be a great kick start to your work day!
