-------------------------------------------------
Christina is the Adelaide-based blogger behind The Hungry Australian (http://hungryaustralian.com/), a food and travel blog that was one of only five finalists in the lifestyle category of last year's Best Australian Blogs competition (https://australianwriterscentre.worldsecuresystems.com/bloggingcomp/2013competition.html). She also won the competition's Outstanding Use of Photography Award for her post Exploring Dubai: Spices, Diamonds, Gold and Fruit & Vegetables (http://hungryaustralian.com/2012/12/exploring-dubai-spices-diamonds-gold-fruit-vegetables).
Christina began her blog in mid 2011 as an outlet for her writing. She never imagined that her blog would lead to her new career as a freelance recipe developer, writer, photographer, food stylist, consultant and blogger. She loves the variety of her job! Check out Christina's client work on her online portfolio (http://christinasoong.com/).
You can also catch Christina on Tuesday April 8th as part of Eating Their Words (http://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/eating-their-words-tickets-10872077677?aff=eorg) at the Adelaide Food & Wine Festival (http://adelaidefoodandwinefestival.org/). Along with David Sly (Gourmet Traveller, SA Life), Phil Whitmarsh (Daniel O'Connell) and George Ujvary (The Foodologist), Christina will be debating food writing, blogging, social media, ethics and disclosure over top nosh and wine at the Daniel O'Connell.
