WordPress Adelaide Developer Meetup - March 2020

Please RSVP to either the Developer meetup OR the User meetup.

The developer meetup focuses on the code side of working with WordPress, and all the technologies used by WordPress - PHP, HTML, CSS, JavasScript.

In 2020 we're focusing on the future of WordPress, so there will be a strong focus on topics such as JS, React, creating Blocks, the REST API, Headless WordPress and much more.

If you're less technically inclined, there is a user meetup that happens at the same time, and both meetups have shared networking time before and after.

We run an optional session at the start of the meetup called WordPress 101 - if you're really new to WordPress then this is for you!

Each month we have a different topic, and the formats of the main part of the evening can vary.

8:00pm - Event formally concludes, attendees are welcome to stay at the venue

The Venue

In 2020 We have changed venue, and we're now delighted to be at the Duke of Brunswick hotel on Gilbert St in the CBD.

The DOB is close to many major public transport routes, and you should find ample free parking in the adjacent side streets after the 9-5 crowd clears out.

You are welcome to arrive at the DOB anytime before the meetup and enjoy some food or a drink, however we ask that all attendees please stay out of the Adelaide room until invited in, so that the speakers may properly prepare.
