October Meetup: SEO

This time we are going to talk search engine optimisation.

Steen will give a short presentation on WordPress and SEO (n danish).

Lars will introduce Blackhat SEO. (in english)

James will give a short introduction to how google gets the information required for rich snippets in search results (like business, hotel, restaurant or museum info).

After these we will open up a discussion for how to make your WP site do better on search engines.

t will be our first time at Liftoff (http://liftoffcph.dk/), a shared office on Frederiksberg. We will be hosted by Rommel (https://rommel.dk/) who are are based there.

Access: Steps up to the 3rd. floor.

Parking: There is only on-street parking in the area.

Refreshments: There will be drinks and snacks.

About the monthly meetups

We strive to hold regular meetups in the last week of most months. Sometimes there are presentations, and other times we run it as a workshop or social gathering. There is always plenty of time for general networking.

Meetups are held in Danish or English depending on the mix of attendees and preferences of the speakers and venue owners.
