The next release of WordPress, version 5.9, will feature a brand new default theme named Twenty Twenty-Two.

Structurally and functionally, with full-site editing and global styles, it will enable more avenues for customization than users have ever come to expect.

Twenty Twenty-Two will take advantage of a wide network of page templates, headers, footers, and other patterns so that users can easily make this theme their own.
