Our speaker: Kathir Sid Vel (https://www.meetup.com/WordPress-Edinburgh/members/5693801/) - a WordPress developer and the co-founder of Optimise Web, a digital agency offering WordPress and Magento based websites.
Subject: Easy Ways to Optimise your WordPress Website for Google PageSpeed.
Description: The talk will demonstrate how to optimise WordPress websites through a few plugins and code tweaks. After each plugin install, the demo website will be tested using Pingdom Tools, GTMetrix, WebPageTest, and Google's own PageSpeed Insights to evaluate the outcome.

As always everyone is welcome, we have beginners and we have developers in our group, so please do come along regardless or your WordPress knowledge!
The social gathering we have after the talk has been very beneficial for people to meet others interested in WordPress and even get tips and recommendations not associated with the topic of the night.
