Note that this talk will be on Wednesday this month!

Come join us for a talk about how GPS and WordPress can work together and the challenges of making a GPS Android app that works with WordPress.

I will discuss the history of GPS and WordPress as well as how GPS Plotter was built and what it can do for you. We will also be discussing Google Maps and Openstreetmaps and how they differ from one another as well as their inherent advantages/disadvantages.

In addition, we will go over some of the nuances of maintaining your plugin on the WordPress repository from getting started to supporting your software.

If you are interested in GPS or would like to learn more about making your own plugin for the WordPress repository this is the meetup for you.

As usual, we will have an "ask us anything" segment at the beginning of the meetup. If you are having issues or you have any questions that need answers this is a great time to ask them. We will be crowd-sourcing answers so bring your laptop and your questions.

We open the doors at 6pm and we will start the meetup promptly at 6:30pm. Stop by early to network and bring your business cards. We hope to see you there!
