12/14 It's today. Watch the State of the Word here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH5PnfYg_lA

After two years of virtual events and WordCamps, we can finally MeetUp in person.

Announcing that the State of the Word 2021 will be held in our home City. It's the annual keynote address presented by the co-founder of WordPress, Matt Mullenweg.

Complete this registration form to attend the event: https://wordcampcentral.survey.fm/request-a-seat-sotw-2021

The deadline to register is Sunday, November 28. The event will be held in Manhattan.

There are limited seats due to venue capacity, and social distancing. Everyone who requests a seat will receive a response on Tuesday, November 30.

Stream it online with the link included. There are no plans for an in person Watch Party.

If you're new to the State of the Word, watch last year's on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI3qCoiuG3w. State of the Word is always followed by a Question & Answer session. If you have a question for Matt, you can send your question ahead of time to ask-matt@wordcamp.org, or ask in person. If you're curious about the next generation of themes and design tools in the upcoming 5.9 release, watch this: https://wordpress.org/news/2021/11/a-look-at-wordpress-5-9/.

NYC. Our first in person event is a unique one. Don't miss it.

I just might meet you there. <3
